Our Many Rooms

“A house that has been experienced is not an inert box. Inhabited space transcends geometrical space,” writes Gaston Bachelard. Bachelard offers ideas of home, memory, and daydreaming that give us a unique stepping off point for exploring. Our Many Rooms is a Gateless Method 2-day Online Poetry Workshop where we use somatic practice and generative prompts inspired by Gaston Bachelard’s concepts from his work Poetics of Space and Carmen Maria Machado’s In the Dream House. You will leave with four new pieces with feedback of what is working. And a new lens to working on your craft. (December 10, 11 10am-12pm PDT)
